Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is a type of energy that is naturally renewed and can be obtained from carbon neutral natural sources. With the increase in global warming, climate change and depletion of natural resources, the interest towards renewable energy has also increased, and studies in the field of environmental energy have started to gain momentum. As Istanbul Energy, we carry out projects on solar energy, biomass energy, electric vehicle charging systems, wind and hydroelectric energy, solar energy and recycling; and we are working towards the goal of making Istanbul a carbon neutral and resilient city by 2050.

We define our corporate responsibilities towards the environment and the world more effectively within the framework of the European Green Consensus policies and C40 Big Cities Climate Leadership Group meetings, and we take actions in line with these definitions in terms of the use of renewable energy sources.
